We are delighted to announce that attacking midfielder Adam Carnwath has penned a two-year pre-contract agreement with Peterhead FC, subject to SFA approval.

Adam joined the Blue Toon on loan from Dundee United in January and impressed Managers Jordon and Ryan enough to be offered a permanent contract when released from his parent club:

“Delighted to have Adam back and with us permanently for the next two seasons, he is an exciting young versatile player who showed in his six months with us that he has lots of potential and can now feel settled in a positive environment that will allow him to continue to develop. He knows the group, knows the club and played his part in last seasons success so all that is a great base for coming back hungrier again ready to kick on and have an impact in league 1. His willingness to want to re sign with the club was also important and shows his commitment to our aims of continuing to push the club upwards” – Jordon Brown

“I’m really happy to be back at Peterhead, I loved my time on loan here last season and I can’t wait to start the new season” – Adam Carnwath

Midfielder Dylan Forrest has agreed terms to become a PFC player for the next two years subject to SFA approval

“We are all really excited to have secured Dylan as he is someone we identified really early in the season when he had been a standout, not just against us but throughout the whole campaign for Stranraer. Under difficult circumstances he showed leadership qualities and has great experience of the league already at the young age of 22. To secure him for the next couple of seasons when he is at a really good age and has the drive and ambition to succeed is brilliant and he will fit in with the group really well. He adds different qualities to the already talented midfield core of our team and gives us something different as a dominant midfield figure that can compliment and improve the players around him. We have had to be patient as he was understandably sought after but it is a testament to where the club is at and looking to get to that he has decided to sign with us as we look to acheive success this year and beyond” – Jordon Brown
