Peterhead FC are delighted to confirm that Peter Pawlett will take on the role of First Team Coach, combining the position with his playing duties at Balmoor.
“We are really happy and excited to formally add Pete to our staff, he’s a person we trust and respect immensely. When Niall left the club, Pete showed a willingness to be more involved and add even more value to what he currently does as a senior player. There has been a lot of change at the club since the summer but this brings us new stability. He knows the club, knows the players and importantly has now played and achieved major success in the lower leagues for a few seasons so that experience is vital. Alongside his experience at the top of the Scottish game, we welcome the fresh input that he will bring in transitioning to off the pitch roles as well as still having a lot to give on it” – PFC Management Team
Peterhead FC can confirm that Fraser Mackie will join Fraserburgh FC on loan until January 2027, subject to SFA approval.
“It’s been evident how highly we rate and trust Fraser with the number of appearances and impact he has had when called upon this season. He’s a quiet but popular figure in the dressing room and we fully see him being a key player for Peterhead for a number of years to come. Still only 19, his improvements throughout his first couple of seasons in senior football has been excellent, culminating in starts and goal involvements in a very high standard League 1. With the squad now at a point of being settled with experienced players coming back and KDM fixtures almost complete, the opportunity has arisen for Fraser to go to an environment he knows well and once again look to better his previous loan spell there.
We look forward to welcoming Fraser back with more valuable senior minutes under his belt in January and further seeing him continue his development to becoming a top striker within the leagues” – Jordon Brown
Peterhead FC are delighted to announce the signing of centre-back Archie Graham on loan from Stenhousemuir for the remainder of the season, subject to SFA approval.
“We are absolutely delighted to secure Archie for the season. It is safe to say we have had to show a lot of patience and perseverance across the last few weeks and months to ensure we got the centre half that adds to what we already have in the squad and we believe Archie does this in abundance. As soon as we knew there was a chance of the move happening, it is one we have been desperate to make happen. He comes highly recommended and on the back of being a regular in an outstanding Stenhousemuir side and defence who achieved promotion, playing 47 times in all competitions. At 22, he is at a good age to continue to develop with regular game time, and with his strong League 1 experience last season we are excited to add him into our already competitive group. Thanks also to Marvin Bartley and Stenhousemuir for their assistance in making this happen, all going well Archie should be a welcome addition to our squad tomorrow” – Jordon Brown
Peterhead FC are delighted to announce a new cooperation agreement with St Johnstone, which will see goalkeeper Craig Hepburn and midfielder Jack Robertson join the Blue Toon.
Manager Ryan Strachan said:
“We’re delighted to formally welcome our latest additions and announce an exciting step forward through our cooperation agreement with St Johnstone. First and foremost, I want to extend our gratitude to Gus Macpherson and the team at McDiarmid Park. Working with Gus for the Saints top young talents was made easy with simple, efficient communications. We were able to navigate the process smoothly and get these deals over the line seamlessly. Working with top Premier League clubs and continuing to build on the good relationships we have with a number of these clubs is so important for our strategy. As part of this agreement, we are thrilled to bring in goalkeeper Craig Hepburn. Craig comes off the back of a very impressive and successful loan spell at East Kilbride where he excelled and played to a very high level. He arrives with great energy and determination to push the position, driving standards in our goalkeeping department and raising overall competition across the squad. Alongside Craig, we are delighted to welcome midfielder Jack Robertson. Jack is an outstanding prospect who regularly trains with St Johnstone’s first team. He possesses fantastic energy and athleticism. We know his quality will prove invaluable as he steps in to support us over the coming weeks and months with such a hectic schedule. Welcome both Craig and Jack to Balmoor as we prepare for an exciting demanding stretch ahead!”
Peterhead FC are delighted to announce that attacker Bobby McLuckie has joined on loan from Greenock Morton until January 2027, subject to SFA approval.
“We are absolutely delighted to have landed young Bobby McLuckie on loan from Greenock Morton until January. Bobby is a player we followed closely last season whilst at Hamilton and East Kilbride. He was a standout in a short spell in league 2 last season, scoring 8 goals and 7 assists in 17 games – a quite phenomenal return. Although not a natural number 9, Bobby will add a much needed eye for goal creation and execution across a number of positions in the front line. His direct, powerful style will suit us and hopefully ease the burden on others who maybe aren’t as natural in front of goal but have been forced to play in attacking areas. We firmly believe we’re getting a player who should be playing in the championship and we needed to be very proactive in getting this deal over the line. Thanks to Morton for allowing us to develop his services and good luck Bobby! – Ryan Strachan
