Peterhead FC are delighted to announce that winger James Stokes has signed a permanent one-year deal with the club, keeping him at Balmoor until 2027, subject to SFA approval.
“Stokesy is a player we have admired for a couple of seasons now, particularly when he was a key figure in the Edinburgh City sides we faced in League 2. When his circumstances changed in the last few weeks, we jumped at the chance of bringing him on board. A good age entering his peak years with good league experience and keen to make the step up to League 1, he has already fitted in with the group on and off the pitch across the last week. Unfortunately his run out on Saturday was cut short but there has been good news on that front in that it is not serious. We are positive his high energy, sharpness and quality on and off the ball with his versatility across the attacking midfield positions adds more competition to an area we are looking to improve on” – Jordon Brown
Congratulations James, we look forward to seeing you play in Blue Toon colours this coming season.
