Peterhead FC can confirm that striker Kieran Shanks has left the club to join Scottish Championship side Ayr United for an undisclosed fee.
Kieran first arrived at Balmoor on loan from Arbroath in January 2023 before making the move permanent that summer. He went on to make 132 appearances in a Peterhead shirt, scoring an impressive 49 goals and becoming an important member of the squad during his time with the club.
While we are naturally sorry to see Kieran leave, Peterhead FC will always support players who have the ambition and opportunity to progress their careers at a higher level. His move is one he has earned through his hard work, commitment and performances at Balmoor.
Everyone at Peterhead FC would like to sincerely thank Kieran for his contribution to the club and wish him every success in the next chapter of his career.
All the very best, Shanksy!
