Peterhead FC are delighted to announce the permanent transfer of Forward Lyall Keir from Buckie Thistle FC on a three-year contract subject to SFA approval.
“We are absolutely delighted to have secured another top North East talent and really excited that Lyall has chosen to take the next step of his career with us, it’s been clear he has a real desire to progress and succeed. Lyall has been on our radar for a long time now and it is brilliant to get it concluded at this stage so he is ready to hit the ground running come pre season.
We have seen first hand the success of players making the move from the Highland League to league football and we have no doubt Lyall is ready to do the same. He adds a different profile to the group and one we have been keen to recruit, a physical winger with an eye for goal and great versatility. With what we already have tied down for next season and the balance of the squad starting to take shape, Lyall ticks the key elements on and off the pitch that improve this strong group.
We won’t give up on play offs just yet with a big few weeks coming up but everyone is looking forward to welcoming Lyall officially as a Peterhead player come June, forming a big part of our plans to consistently improve and push the club in an upward trajectory” – Jordon Brown
Congratulations Lyall, we look forward to seeing you play in Blue Toon colours this coming season.
