Kelty Hearts v Peterhead match preview

Feb 13, 2026

Peterhead head to New Central Park to take on Kelty Hearts in William Hill League One, with a 3pm kick-off.

This will be the third encounter between the two sides this season, with the Blue Toon emerging victorious in both previous meetings.

Currently sitting at the bottom of the table, Thomas O’Ware’s side will be aiming to pick up valuable points to move out of the relegation zone, while Peterhead remain in contention for a play-off place at the opposite end of the standings.

From Jordon Brown: “3rd away game on the bounce tomorrow but there is a real excitement and hunger in the squad to just be back into a decent routine and looking to build momentum on the pitch. Really stop start year so far and we haven’t been able to train near as much as we would like but the guys as always have been great and performances have been at a good level. Results wise of course is the most important factor and something we are determined to put right tomorrow, particularly after the way the other night ended when we were the width of the bar away from 3 points.
We are under no illusions how tough a task it is as Kelty have strengthened significantly since we played them last and are fighting for their lives. We must match that challenges with our own focus and look to string results together that move us up the table. Drawing games is fine but they must be backed up with wins. The 2 other games against them this season have been played in terrible conditions so hopefully tomorrow allows more football to be played as both teams like to play in a positive manner.
The thin squad we have worked with recently have really stuck together on a lot of the off the ball work we have been looking to improve on and we hope at the attacking end the guys form is also starting to pick up consistency. Kieran is clearly in a good place and long may that continue.
On the squad, Adam and Steely may make the squad tomorrow and Pete shouldn’t be far behind them. Jack Brown and Dunney slightly further away. Mack made a good impact from the bench on Tuesday and along with Henry they have both shown brilliant attitudes and we are eager to get them involved on the pitch when the right time allows to showcase their talents”.
