Peterhead FC is delighted to announce the appointment of John Farquhar as our new Goalkeeper Coach at Balmoor.
John joins us from Inverurie Locos, where he earned a strong reputation for developing talented goalkeepers and bringing a high level of professionalism to his coaching. His experience, enthusiasm, and commitment to improving players make him an excellent addition to our backroom staff.
John is already familiar with the club having been previously signed as a goalkeeper at Balmoor from 2006-2008 and expressed his excitement at stepping into the role:
“I’m really delighted to be given the opportunity with Peterhead, it’s a new challenge for me in my coaching career but one that I’m really excited about. I’m looking forward to working with the managers, coaching staff and of course the goalkeepers at the club – can’t wait to get started”.
We are confident that John’s approach, experience, and passion for goalkeeper development will be a valuable asset to the squad throughout the season.
