Stirling Albion v Peterhead match preview

Nov 9, 2025

Peterhead are back on the road this Tuesday evening for their third consecutive away fixture as they take on Stirling Albion at Forthbank Stadium in the final match of the preliminary round of the KDM Evolution Trophy.

The Blue Toon currently occupy 15th place in the KDM Evolution Trophy standings, with Stirling Albion sitting in 21st position. With only the top 22 teams advancing to the next stage of the competition, Peterhead have already booked their spot however Alan Maybury’s side know that a positive result will secure their progression, while a defeat could allow teams below them the chance to move into the qualifying positions.

From Jamie McNee: “A quick turnaround after a disappointing result on Saturday. I personally think we played well for large parts of the game on Saturday but unfortunately big moments let us down and the result, the important part, didn’t go in our favour. The week always feels longer sitting on a defeat so it’s great to have a game again as soon as tomorrow to get back on the right track.

We know Stirling Albion well from last season and many of their players and we know going there is always a good, competitive game.

We’re getting closer to a full squad again so the more games the better chance we have to get players minutes across the board. We’re in a really positive place as a group at the moment and we’re eager to get those previously injured players back involved”.
