Peterhead Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Goalkeeper Jack Newman on a one year deal with the option of a second, subject to SFA approval.
Jack impressed in his loan spell at the Blue Toon in 2022 so when he was released by Dundee United at the end of the season, Ryan and Jordon were keen to get the shot-stopper signed up.
From Jordon Brown: “It’s no secret we have been looking for a GK but have been patient and we are absolutely delighted to have been able to secure Jack. This is a brilliant opportunity for Jack to make the step into part time football at a really good age for exposure to regular first team football and we believe he can bring real value to our team. He’s someone we know pretty well from his successful brief spell on loan here before and have always kept in touch on his progress. He comes with good full time experience at a few clubs now and also international recognition not so long ago. We expect him to settle really quickly and we are looking forward to him now joining us before the first pre season game!”
