Elgin City are the visitors to Balmoor this Saturday in William Hill League with a 3pm KP.
Allan Hales’s team are on the hunt for a win after a disappointing few weeks taking only three points from their last four matches which has seen them drop below Edinburgh City in the league table albeit with a game in hand.
Elgin have seen the better of the Blue Toon this season though taking all 6 points from the last two encounters so Jordon and Ryan will be looking to put an end to that tomorrow as Peterhead endeavour to close the gap on league leaders East Fife.
From Jordon Brown: “We look forward to every game with excitement and positivity and tomorrow is no different. We showed last week right up until the 96th minute that we are determined to win every game. It wasn’t to be but the group has shown the belief everyone has in each other.
Games with Elgin of course have that extra edge and tomorrow’s one has even more with the fact we have come out on the wrong end of the result twice this season already. It is something everyone is eager to put right. We had a really good session on and off the pitch during the week working in detail on areas we have been good in and others that we can improve in and specifically exploit any weaknesses tomorrow. Elgin have had a great season and continue to strengthen their squad even today so we won’t be fooled by their recent blip which can happen easily in this competitive league, we need to be really focussed and at our best.
There is also a bit of frustration into how the past 2 home games have finished and we know how important our remaining home games are going to be. The finishing line is in sight and it is all to play for with 5 home and 5 away, we really hope the fans can turn up in numbers like they did last week as their support is always noticed by the team and the positive atmosphere they generate can be the difference to get the team over the line.
Team news wise we are pretty similar to how we have been with Jamie Walker and Ben Armour still missing”.
