Peterhead are on to the road to New Bayview on Saturday to face East Fife in a League Two top of the table clash.
With home advantage, Dick Campbell’s side will look to diminish the Blue Toons title hopes and claim the crucial three points that will widen the gap between first and second.
Coming off a draw versus Clyde in their previous outing, the Blue Toon look to bounce back to winning ways, reflecting their last meeting with East Fife at Balmoor.
From Jamie McNee: “I think first against second is always going to be an exciting match in whatever league you look at and it’s one that we can’t wait for.
No excuses with the pitch and doesn’t look like the weather will play a factor so hopefully we can go there and play our game and get the result we’re all after.
We know East Fife have plenty of options when looking at potential goalscorers and a really tight unit in defence. Physically they have been impressive in both boxes this season and it’s something we will have to be conscious of for 90+ minutes.
In terms of availability, it was great to get Pete some minutes last week and he looks ready to go. Jamie Walker unfortunately won’t be available and Ben Armour is recovering well but still a few weeks away”.
