Forfar Athletic are the visitors to Balmoor on Saturday in William Hill League 2 with a 3pm KO.
Jim Weir’s men currently sit 10th in the table having not had a league win since December so they will be hoping to head home with a share of the spoils after this Saturday’s encounter. The Blue Toon meanwhile will be looking to bounce back after a disappointing loss to Spartan’s last weekend which marred what had been a great start to the year with 3 wins from 3 in the previous week.
From First Team Coach Jamie McNee: “After a really frustrating and disappointing result last weekend, we’ve had a positive week’s training, looking at slight tweaks and we’re now eager to get back on the pitch.
We’ve had a great start to 2025 with 3 wins in a week so last week’s negative result definitely hurt.
We certainly need to stick to the processes that have given us relative success in the past 18 months but we are not naive and know we need to continue to improve and win games over and above all.
Pete won’t make the squad unfortunately after his ankle injury last weekend and will possibly miss the next few weeks which we all know is a big miss, but we are blessed with a big squad of players who are all desperate to take their chance.”
