Peterhead play their rescheduled match v Stranraer on Tuesday evening at 7.45pm, this match was previously postponed due to a frozen pitch.
Stranraer, who currently sit 8th in the William Hill League 2 table will be coming into this match fresh after their Saturday fixture v Spartans also fell foul of the weather with snow and ice affecting many games throughout Scotland.
The Blue Toon climbed a league place to 2nd after beating Edinburgh City away at Meadowbank on Saturday, they leapfrogged Elgin City who came away with a draw in their match away to Forfar.
From First Team Coach Jamie McNee: “Delighted to have another game so quickly after a great result at the weekend. We know we’re facing an organised side that we really struggled to break down in the last game down there, who also caused us problems at the other end. We have looked impressive from a defensive point-of-view the last 5 games with what I’d imagine to be the youngest back 4 and goalkeeper in the league, if not the country, so that’s something we’re looking to keep a big focus on, while we continue to try and create scoring chances ourselves”.
