Peterhead head to Borough Briggs on Saturday to take on Elgin City in William Hill League 2 with a 3pm KO.
The Blue Toon currently occupy top spot in the league with Elgin City not far behind in 3rd with only 2 points separating the former Highland League rivals so it’s all to play for tomorrow.
From First Team Coach Jamie McNee: “After a strong week last week it’s important we keep this momentum going with a positive performance, and hopefully result, tomorrow.
After losing the home fixture we’re all more than aware of how strong a group this Elgin team are. We will have to be focussed and at our best for the 90+ minutes and there’s no reason why we shouldn’t be.
It’s no secret we’ve got more than a few key players missing but the beauty of our squad is that whoever’s come in to replace these injured or suspended players have more than stepped up to the mark”.
