Edinburgh City are the visitors to Baloor this Saturday and Michael McIndoe’s men will be keen to improve on the last time the two sides met when Peterhead ran out 4-0 winners at Meadowbank. The Citizens have won their last two games while the Blue Toon also come into this fixture unbeaten in their last four games.
From First Team Coach Jamie McNee: “After two really good results and performances, we’re all itching to get back to it in what should be a really good game of football. Us and Edinburgh, both teams who like to try dominate possession.
We’ve watched their footage and interviews, they’re clearly very confident. The manager has them well drilled and looks like he has a team that are playing for him. They were aesthetically pleasing in the away fixture in which we came away with a really positive result but they now look to be getting the results to match their positive play. We are under no illusions tomorrow will be a real challenge but we’re all looking forward to it.
Danny Strachan was back running at training on Wednesday and shouldn’t be too far away which will give us a full squad to choose from for selections with Jordan Armstrong back available last week also.”
