Bonnyrigg Rose v Peterhead

Apr 5, 2024

Peterhead travel to New Dundas Park today as The Blue Toon face Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic.

Kicking off at 3pm, both sides play match number 32 of the season.

With the season drawing to a close, Peterhead are aiming to hold onto second place, whilst Saturday’s hosts will hope to secure League 2 football again next season. The Blue Toon will be looking to replicate last weekends performance as they put four past Clyde at Balmoor. Last weekend’s result saw Bonnyrigg and Stranraer share the points; extending Bonnyrigg’s winless streak to ten matches in all competitions.

Ahead of today’s fixture, Jordon Brown shares his thoughts:

“We know how tricky this place can be to get a result at for various reasons and they have shown that throughout the season. With a new manager and a determination to avoid relegation we know we will need to match their hunger and determination to ensure we keep our momentum building. We are happy the game is on as we don’t want disruptions at this stage. After a good win last week we will look to continue to play the way we want to in a good structure and shape that we have been consistent in however know we will need to show some better game management as we look to get back to winning ways on the road. The squad is really competitive and like I have said all along we will need everyone to be reaching their peaks if we are to secure 2nd place and give ourselves the best chance in what would hopefully be 4 games in 2 weeks in the play offs. We will unfortunately have a few enforced changes today with Andy and Danny ruled out but again gives huge opportunities for players to come in and show their qualities that we see in training regularly. David Wilson is still ruled out aswell but Caleb returns and Conor O’Keefe will have a late fitness test”.
