Peterhead FC are pleased to announce that we have agreed terms for the signing of winger Conner Duthie from Clyde FC on a one-year contract.
The 26-year-old has previously been at Hibernian, Dunfermline Athletic, Stenhousemuir, Dumbarton and Clyde with loan stints at Spartans and Forfar Athletic in between.
Duthie won the Player of the Year award with Dumbarton in season 2021-2022 and scored seven goals from 28 league matches, the winger was most recently at Clyde last season where he saw game time limited due to surgery.
Duthie is hoping to kick on again this season and get back to the performances that saw him win club honours a few seasons ago.
Peterhead co-manager Jordon Brown said, “Conner is a player that we’ve done our research on, we know him from having played against him through the years and although he had a slight injury that kept him out of the Clyde team last season, we think a fully fit Conner can get goals and assists from his forward position”.
“We can’t get enough of the forward-thinking players in the team which has been a priority for myself and Ryan as we know the struggles we had in front of goal last season.”
Conner becomes the 16th player to commit to Peterhead for the season and we look forward to working with him over the next two years.
