There was some good news on the injury front for defender Andy McDonald following the injury he picked up in the game against Falkirk at the weekend.
There were fears that the 24-year-old had suffered a stress fracture on his shin however following a trip to hospital following the game, these have decreased.
Balmoor manager Jim McInally said: “It looks like the bang Andy took to his leg has not caused the extent of problem that was first thought. He will miss training on Tuesday and is a major doubt for the weekend at Queen of the South, but it looks promising in that he will not be out for as long as first feared.”
