Prior to the permanent Transfer Window closing last week Peterhead Football Club released Jamie Redman and Craig Simpson from the contracts they had agreed back in July. Both players featured in a Premier Sports Cup tie against Stirling with Craig also featuring in a League 1 game against Airdrie with Balmoor manager Jim McInally saying: “Both Jamie and Craig came in to help Peterhead at a time when our squad was depleted due to injuries. They have my thanks and the thanks of everyone at the club for doing that.” “Both players are moving away from the area due to work commitments and we wish them well.”
