Peterhead are working through the ‘paperwork’ required to complete the signings of two further players who will strengthen manager Jim McInally’s playing pool. The signing of Prince Annor Asare was completed after several weeks of waiting on Saturday and now manager McInally is hopeful that an attacker from the continent of Africa and a more defensive minded midfielder from Europe will be added soon. Jim said: “We have two players who have agreed to sign for the club however they have not been straightforward moves. We have needed to apply for various permits and to go through a lot of red tape.” “Everyone at the club is working hard on doing that and, whilst they are not over the line yet, there is now some daylight at the end of what has been two frustrating tunnels. We know that we need to add to the playing pool and we are doing that by bringing in the right quality as fast as we can.”
