Jason returns to training

Peterhead defender Jason Brown returned to training last night for the first time in just over three weeks following the head-knock he suffered against Stirling Albion last month. The centre back was playing in his first game of the season at Forthbank in the Premier Sports Club when he was injured with Balmoor manager Jim McInally pleased to have the 26-year-old back as he explained by saying: “It was good to see Jason out on the pitch again. We had an 11 versus 11 game involving the available players in the squad, players we want to sign, but red tape is holding things up, and a number of trialists that wanted a look at.” “Jason was able to get involved in all aspects of his usual game and having him available as another option ahead of the Queen of the South game is great for us when you consider where we were just a couple of weeks ago.”
