Goalkeeper Lenny Wilson has informed Peterhead manager Jim McInally that he will not be taking up the option of a new contract with the club.
The 25-year-old Aberdeen born shot-stopper joined the Blue Toon in 2019 after stints in America University football and appearances for with Michigan Bucks, Hartwick Hawks and Red Storm.
Lenny was an understudy to Greg Fleming in his first season and went onto challenge both Joshua Rae and Brett Long for a starting jersey in the next two campaigns during which he made ten appearances.

A fractured cheekbone, sustained in training on his birthday, interrupted last season for Lenny however he ended it with a spell on loan at Brora Rangers and back in the Peterhead first team squad.
Manager McInally said: “Being a goalkeeper can be frustrating as only one can ever play and unfortunately for Lenny, he faced great competition during his time here. He is now looking elsewhere and we wish him well with that.”
“We now have no signed goalkeepers at the club however I am close to confirming one new recruit and will step up my interest in others now we know that Lenny is not coming back.”
