Peterhead manager Jim McInally is pleased with numbers in his squad ahead of public pre-season games this weekend especially as there could be three additions before the games against Inverurie Locos and Turriff United this weekend.
Jim is closing in on a new recruit, another loan signing and a significant re-signing as he explained: “In terms of numbers for the squad I am really pleased with where we are. We got some boys signed up at the end of last season and that gave us a very good platform to build on.”
“We had 21 players training at the weekend and that number included quite a lot of trialists. We will bring that number down over the next week as it looks like we have been able to secure three of the targets we have been aiming for.”
“I do not want to say too much about who they are until deals are completed however I am sure that if they all come off our fans will be pleased.”
