Gary Fraser

Feb 23, 2021

Peterhead manager Jim McInally is disappointed to advise that the club are no further forward in ascertaining the extent of the knee injury Gray Fraser suffered against Montrose on December 22.

Gary fell awkwardly just a few minutes into into the 1-1 draw with the Gable Endies at Balmoor and was taken to hospital immediately after the game.

A scan was carried out in early January however a specialist has still not viewed the results due to delays caused by the covid-19 pandemic to leave Jim saying: “Whilst we can understand the reasons for the lack of progress it does not mean that it is anything other than frustrating. Gary is getting better and is walking fair distances every day however we have to ensure he is doing the right amount of exercise so we cannot step anything up until we know the full diagnosis.”

“It is disappointing that Gary does not have a target to aim for in terms of an operation or a date to start running but the club are pushing to see what we can do.”
