Dec 2, 2020

Peterhead started their preparations for their trip to Falkirk on Saturday with a training session involving all the players at the club last night with the exception of on-loan Dundee youngster Josh Mulligan who recently had ankle surgery.

Simon Ferry and Isaac Layne returned after injuries with manager Jim McInally saying: “Simon was touch and go at the weekend when we played Forfar. He did some work before the game however it would have been a risk if he had gone flat out so we opted to use him on the side-lines as a coach.”

“Isaac is also back in amongst things after the knee injury he picked up against Dumbarton. Unfortunately we have not been able to use Isaac frequently in the league but hopefully that will change now. He scored a couple of good goals against Brechin City in the Betfred Cup however he has not be able to build on that but again there is time for that to happen.”
